It is good practice to prostrate after reciting certain Verses of the Quran.
There are fourteen places of prostration in the Quran as agreed upon by Muslim religious scholars and Ulama, while Imam Shafi'i suggests prostration at Verse 77[*] of Surah 022 Al-Hajj also.
